Kulgam, Oct 10: (LNN) Encounter started between militants and security forces in Chinigam Kala Drang village of Yaripora in South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Saturday night.
A Joint teams of SF including 01RR and Yaripora police launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
An official sources told news agency— Live News Network (LNN) The hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated, triggering an encounter.
The exchange of fire between forces and militants started.
(2-3) Two to three militants are believed to be trapped in the area of yaripora encounter on going.(LNN)
