8-year-old boy receives gunshot injury at home in Rajouri, dies

 

Rajouri, Nov 19: An eight-year-old minor boy died after he received a gunshot injury at his home in Hari Chuma village of Rajouri district.

Officials said that the boy has died and there was a gunshot injury mark on his body, adding that an investigation into the mysterious case has been started.

While talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), officials identified the minor boy as Sachin Sharma, son of Ganesh Kumar of Hari Chuma village of Rajouri.

Police officials said that the victim received a gunshot injury at his house and died on the spot after which his body was brought to Poonch where post-mortem examination will be conducted.

“We have started investigation into the matter to ascertain the circumstances in which the victim was killed,” a police officer said—(KNO
