Poonch, Dec 06 (KNO): The Pakistan army on Sunday resorted to heavy shelling in Balakote and Tarkundi areas along the Line of Control in Poonch and Rajouri districts, creating panic and fear among the residents.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Tarkundi Gali forward area of Manjakote tehsil and Panjani area of Balakote of Poonch came under heavy shelling of Pakistan army today.
"Pak army heavily shelled the areas for over two hours. The shelling was retaliated by the Indian army." the officials said. They further informed that no loss of life or property was reported—(KNO)
